Our tech Randy Walker Jr. was amazing and extremely helpful. He arrived right on time and completed the job quickly and neatly. He gave my wife tips to help us keep our units running smoothly (we have a whole house and a mini split AC too). EDS has been our go-to AC company for over six years now. My air conditioner stopped working. It was 90° outside. I called EDS AC and heating. They said they’d have somebody there the next day there’s a two hour window Randy Walker the technician showed up. He went up on the roof checked out The condensing unit came back told me the fan was turning, but the compressor wasn’t starting. I know how that works. There’s a run winding and a start winding for the compressor motor . When the motor starts. It needs extra power capacitor shoots a higher electrical charge into the start winding to get it turning he replaced the capacitor it was $132 for diagnostic fee and $300 for the capacitor which was a little high priced . Randy replace the capacitor and cold air was coming out of my air-conditioning unit within 30 minutes. It was well worth the $500 and it gives me two return services..
